Up early, we have breakfast and then made the luggage. I leave the book (3 rd volume of Stieg Larson) for Linda, lupine seeds and two onion/root plants (lilies, and astilbe). Thank you, thank you to them.
We walk in the rain to go to the bus stop, fortunately it is not far, 5 min. The bus arrives and we pay less than expected because we are senior. The bus, very long and articulated is full. A young woman, whom I heard speak French with his friend, offered me her place (in English). I told her no thank you in French. She is a bit surprised and, 3 seconds later, she answered OK.
The bus stops at the train station and brilliant system, the bus runs on the tracks in the station. The rails are buried and the bus can run on them without problem. The bus leaves and we wait on the same platform for the train. (It is rather a kind of metro).
We are at the airport early. We leave for Amsterdam at 2.15 pm. The big aircraft from Delta airlines is full.
A young Indian woman (from India) is sitting diagonally in front of us. She travels with a 5-6 years old girl and a 5-6 months baby. The children are quiet but get tired after a few hours. The mom is very patient but the night must seem long for her. Her neighbor, a businessman type, carries and plays with the baby when the mother is busy with the oldest child..
I watch a film, The Concert. It's good and it makes the time pass. In fact this trip passes quickly. It must be said that it only 9 hours, not 13 hours like Amsterdam-Santiago Chile. We fly over the North Pole, it is shorter than following the parallels.
We arrive in Amsterdam at 9 am local time the 26 th of April (midnight the 25 th in Seattle). Not too tired. But we wait three hours before leaving for Bergen. Let’s hope that the box follows.

We arrive in Bergen at 2 pm. The weather is sunny but not too warm. Nina is here and we are very happy to see her. She drives us home.
So, a long and very good journey is over.
Now we are going to stay home and wait for Nina and Sveinung’s baby. The little boy is supposed to come at the end of May. His grand parents must be here to welcome their first grand child.
End of this blog. Bye, bye.
PS: The box with the radar (plus socks and peanut butter) came without problem.En attendant le bus
