Nous prenons le petit-déjeuner ensemble puis Steve part pour l’aéroport à 9 h 30 en bus et train. Il pleut, le beau temps d’hier est déjà fini. Nous allons à University Village à pied avec un parapluie. Nous achetons du peanut butter et des tortillas pour rapporter à la maison. Jens emballe le radar qu’il avait commandé aux Etats-Unis et fait livrer chez Steve et Linda. Il le met dans une caisse en carton et le cale bien avec des vêtements. On met aussi dans la boite les tortillas et les 3 pots de peanut butter. Puis il met une corde autour et fait deux poignées. Elle pèse à peu près 12 kg et on peut la porter à deux. En fin d’après midi on va faire des courses pour le diner à Whole Foods. On achète du maïs frais, de la salade et une bonne baguette. Ils ont vraiment du bon pain. Il pleuviote toujours. On passe à l’arrêt de bus pour vérifier les horaires.
On dine de salade, maïs et fromage. Puis Jens regarde la télévision. Il trouve une chaine publique … en espagnol.
On est à la fois content de renter et triste que ce beau voyage se termine.
We have breakfast together and then Steve left for the airport at 9.30 am by bus and train. It's raining, the good weather from yesterday is already over. We walk to University Village with an umbrella. We buy peanut butter and tortillas to take home. Jens packs the radar that he had ordered in the States and which has been delivered at Steve and Linda’s home. He puts it in a cardboard box and fills up the space with clothes. He also puts in the box tortillas and 3 jars of peanut butter. Then he puts a rope around and made two handles. It weighs about 12 kg and we can carry it together. In late afternoon we go shopping for dinner at Whole Foods. We buy fresh corn, salad and a baguette. They have really good bread. It is raining a bit. We go to the bus stop to check schedules for tomorrow.
We dine on salad, corn and cheese. Jens then watches TV. He finds a public channel ... in Spanish.
We are both sad and happy: happy to go home and sad that this beautiful journey is soon over.
